A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has extended the custody agreement that gives Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline joint custody of their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

According to TMZ, the order, which was originally put in place to cover Spears' Circus tour, will likely last through the end of the year. Under the terms of the deal, Spears — who at one point had lost custody of the children due to her chaotic personal life — was allowed to travel with the boys while on tour, provided she make arrangements for Federline's lodging if he chose to accompany them.

Unnamed sources told TMZ that the sealed order is very detailed, but that it reportedly provides Spears with a minimum of 50/50 custody, or more at times. In return, Federline gets $20,000 a month in child support, as well as $20,000-$25,000 additional a month when the boys travel outside of California. The judge will reevaluate the custody arrangements at the end of the year, but the joint custody appears to be the plan going forward.

While Spears has been traversing the globe in support of her Circus album — which will travel to Australia in November — a noticeably heftier Federline has signed up to appear on VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club." Reportedly joining him on the show will be singer Bobby Brown, Federline's ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson and former "Baywatch" star Nicole Eggert.

After months of rumors that Kevin Federline was working on a reality-TV project, Britney Spears' ex-husband has been confirmed as a participant on the next season of VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club," People reports.

The news was first reported by TMZ, which said he was spotted going onto the set of the show in Simi Valley, California. Calls to both VH1 and Federline's rep to confirm the report were not returned to MTV News.

The former backup dancer, who has been publicly criticized for his recent weight gain, will reportedly star alongside another of his exes: ex-girlfriend and mother of two of his children, actress Shar Jackson. TMZ also reports that other notables for the season include former "Baywatch" star Nicole Eggert and Whitney Houston's ex-husband, Bobby Brown. According to People, the new season of the show will kick off on February 14, 2010.

In July, MTV News reported that Federline was trying to get a reality show about his own life that would include girlfriend Victoria Prince and his two sons with Spears, Jayden James and Sean Preston. Federline was said to proposing the show to VH1, the same place he'll star on "Celebrity Fit Club."

This isn't Federline's first foray into reality TV. After starring alongside Brit in 2005's short-lived reality show "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic," he reportedly had planned to be in another show in 2008 but canceled it due to Spears' public troubles at the time.

According to multiple reports, Britney Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, is shooting a still-in-the-works reality show.

Last week, the onetime rapper and former back-up dancer was seen in Las Vegas and Los Angeles being followed by a film crew, reportedly for his reality show, which, according to People.com, will focus on Federline's life as a dad to his four kids: his two sons, Jayden and Preston, with Spears, as well as his children with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson.

According to UsMagazine.com, Federline was in Vegas last Thursday at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where a camera crew filmed him, current girlfriend Victoria Prince and a group of 15 friends partying until 3 a.m. at the nightclub Wasted Space.

The source further claimed that the show is "definitely not a done deal," but that the network will decide if they want to pick it up if they like the first episode.

When asked about the show by People magazine last week at a golf tournament, Federline would not confirm or deny that a show, which will reportedly air on VH1, is in the works, but there was a camera crew filming Federline. "I have a lot of different things I'm working on right now," Federline said. "None of the things are really floating yet ... as soon as I have the chance to come out and tell everybody about it, I will."

At press time, Federline's camp had no comment about the show, and calls to Spear's camp for confirmation had not been returned. Reps for VH1 have not yet responded to MTV News' requests for comment.

Britney Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, is reportedly in talks to get his own reality show in the near future. The show, according to E! News, would be about Federline, his girlfriend, Victoria Prince, and possibly his two young sons with Spears, Jayden James and Sean Preston.

"Victoria is a big part of the series," a source told E! News about the reported show. "They are not engaged, but she lives with him full-time in his place in Encino."

If the show happens and Victoria is on it, the source says Britney will be fine with it, since Prince already has the pop star's "seal of approval." "Victoria and Britney first met before Britney's tour at Kevin's home," the source said. "They had a meeting face-to-face, when Victoria was home alone with the kids. It was awkward, but Britney was nice."

The source added that the former volleyball player is currently taking graduate classes online. "Victoria actually quit her entry-level job at Fox Sports in L.A. after meeting Kevin," said the source. "She's considering returning to volleyball, but isn't sure."

E! News reported that the show may happen with VH1, but couldn't confirm it. After starring alongside Brit in 2005's short-lived reality show "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic," Kevin reportedly had planned to be in another show in 2008 but canceled it due to Spears' public troubles at the time.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are reportedly close to finalizing a custody agreement allowing them both to see their two young sons while Spears embarks on her Circus tour in March and April.

Though Britney's blog had already announced that the boys were going to be on the road with their mother, Kevin Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told E! News on Wednesday that an agreement would probably be reached in "the next day." He added that Spears will probably see her sons on "pretty much the same schedule that she has now." Spears' lawyer was not available for comment.

As of now, Federline has primary custody of Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2, but Spears has been seeing them about three days a week, according to Kaplan. The attorney didn't think the boys would be attending Britney's shows, but instead K-Fed would be taking the boys to "various central locations in various areas of the country."

"They will be available in her life when she is done with the rigors of performing," he clarified. "He is doing that because he wants her to be able to have the maximum positive environment around her to assure that the tour will be successful."

It was earlier reported that Spears had threatened to cancel her tour if the kids weren't allowed to come along. But Kaplan said Federline wasn't taking that into account. "That would be her decision," he said. "But it is not something that would compel Kevin to decide what is best for his kids."

Meanwhile, Kaplan wasn't able to say whether or not Federline's reported girlfriend, pro volleyball player Victoria Prince, will be traveling with him during the tour. "I don't even know if they know yet," Kaplan told E!. He added that Prince, 26, "is a very solid person, and they are really great together. She is very solid, responsible, and has a very positive effect."

She's got a hit album that just went platinum, is about to release her third single and has a sold-out tour in the works. But, according to TMZ, Britney Spears has threatened to cancel her upcoming Circus tour if ex-husband Kevin Federline's lawyers insist on blocking an agreement that would allow her to take the couple's two sons on the road with her.

Citing unnamed "informed sources," TMZ reported that for several weeks, Britney, her father, Jamie Spears, and K-Fed have been privately working on a plan to let Sean Preston and Jayden James travel with the singer while she goes on the 33-date tour.

According to the plan, Britney would have three home bases while on tour — in New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles. The boys would stay in one of these three bases, and Spears would commute back and forth to them while doing concerts in each region. The tour is slated to kick off in New Orleans on March 3.

A spokesperson for Spears and tour promoter AEG Live could not be reached for comment at press time.

TMZ also reported that Britney would pay K-Fed more than $4,000 a week for each week she's on tour, and her ex would have his own apartment in each of the three home cities. The reason the plan has allegedly hit a hitch is that they worked out the arrangement without the help of lawyers, and Federline's lawyers were "furious" when they heard of it. The attorneys reportedly felt that Jamie Spears, the conservator of Britney's estate, went behind their backs to the cut the deal.

Unnamed sources told TMZ that Federline's lawyers object to the plan, but have not specifically stated why. According to the site, Spears has a nearly 50/50 custody agreement with Federline, but this tour flap could also put that current arrangement in jeopardy.

You heard Britney Spears talk about her man problems during Sunday night's "For the Record" documentary, but now her ex-husband Kevin Federline is doing his own talking. The wannabe rapper and father of 3-year-old Preston and 2-year-old Jayden said in a new interview with People magazine that he was "blindsided" by Spears' divorce filing in 2006 and that even though the couple had trouble in their brief marriage, he never expected it to end like it did.

"It's hard enough to be in a marriage, and then have a kid, then kids. It changes everything," Federline said. "For me, I'd become more concerned with my children. Not that I ignored Britney, but my kids are always most important. ... I mean, we were having complications. I didn't give her an ultimatum, but I was trying to work stuff out with her, and she didn't even talk to me or anything and went behind my back and filed [for divorce]. [I was] completely blindsided."

Federline, 30, recalled some of the happy times as well, telling the magazine that the couple's low-key 2004 wedding is a cherished memory. "I never thought that I would get married, but it wound up happening," he said. "That was a really, really, happy, exciting moment. I pretty much realized that I was giving my life to her, and I was doing it without question." The former backup dancer also reminisces about the first time he met Spears, 27, at the Hollywood club Joseph's. "Our eyes met and that was it. We just hit it off right away. I learned real fast how much of a whirlwind the press and everything was," he said.

Attempting to counter his image in the tabloid press as an alleged gold digger, Federline told People that despite suggestions that he was fighting for custody of the couple's sons for money, he was willing to spend every dime he had to retain the right to see the boys.

"My first question to [my lawyer] was, 'Am I ever going to be able to see my children?' " said Federline, who has sole custody of the children while Spears retains visitation rights. "I told him that I would spend every last dime that I had to make sure that my children are OK. That's all that mattered. I didn't know how much power Britney had. That really scared me."

Another thing Federline said scared him was the scene in January when Spears locked herself and Jayden in her bathroom rather than hand him over to Federline's representative, not to mention the pictures later that night of the singer being carted off to a hospital on a gurney.

"That whole night is a blur," he said. "You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them. I was very, very worried for her 'cause I care about her. That's the mother of my children. Just because I'm not in love with her doesn't mean that I don't love her. I'm definitely rooting for her. There's nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do."

Despite all the drama, now that Spears appears to be getting her life back on track with the new album Circus and a world tour announced on Tuesday, Federline said things do seem to be getting better. "Oh, man, it's totally turning around," he said about the new arrangement recently worked out by a judge that gives Spears more time with the boys. "It works out that [the kids] get to see her. There's structure over there, there's structure at my house. We're trying to keep the same type of schedule. It doesn't have to be completely perfect, but the foundation is there."

Though Spears avoided directly lashing out at Federline during "For the Record," in a new interview with Glamour magazine the singer takes a not-so-thinly veiled swing at her ex, saying, "In five years, I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable. It's hard doing it on your own."

Britney Spears' youngest son, Jayden James, appears to be fine after an overnight hospitalization for an allergic reaction, an unnamed source told People magazine.

Spears had taken her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, back home to Kentwood, Louisiana, for a visit — the first since her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline — when 2-year-old Jayden reportedly broke out into hives.

The family took him to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, approximately 20 miles away from Kentwood, for emergency care Sunday. Being a small town, Kentwood has few options for medical care, including an outpatient clinic, a nursing home and a hospital, Hood Memorial, within 15 miles of city limits. After Hood Memorial, Southwest Mississippi Regional is the closest facility.

Britney's brother, Bryan, was videotaped outside the Southwest Mississippi Regional emergency entrance, bringing in fast food on a few occasions and taking care of 3-year-old Sean on another. Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center told MTV News that it's hospital policy not to confirm admissions or disclose patient information.

"[Jayden] is doing fine," the source told People. "He had hives, was itchy and irritable. ... They're not sure [what caused the reaction]. ... They kept him overnight."

Spears' rep's office had no information on the situation at press time.

A rep for Federline told MTV News she had no comment whether the father would be traveling to see his son in the hospital.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's custody battle, which finally concluded in July, was long and complicated. Not surprisingly, it was also a very expensive one.

According toThe Associated Press, court documents in Spears' child-custody case show that the pop singer will pay a hefty price tag for fighting it out with ex-husband Federline over their two young sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The documents include legal bills from two law firms that total more than $466,000. In addition, Spears agreed to pay $250,000 of K.Fed's legal fees.

One attorney, Stacy D. Phillips, claims that Britney owes her $407,000 for nearly four months of work she did for the singer during her custody case. Phillips also says that she's written off $125,000 in fees.

Phillips maintains that her case was complicated by Spears' temporary conservatorship under her father, Jamie, which was instated after Britney displayed erratic and dangerous behavior earlier this year. She is under his conservatorship at least until the end of this year, when the case will be reexamined.

Another attorney, Laura Wasser, who took over the case back in June, claims that she is owed $60,000 for two months of work. Although Federline retains full custody of their sons, Wasser was the attorney who successfully negotiated an agreement that allowed Britney to see her kids more often.

Attorneys for Britney and Jamie Spears indicated last week that they plan to contest Phillips' bill.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's custody settlement is final, according to TMZ.com.

Under the settlement, which was filed Friday (July 25) in L.A. County Superior Court, Spears must pay $250,000 in Federline's legal fees. Also, Federline will get $20,000 a month for child support, up from his previous $15,000. The agreement doesn't mention visitation, TMZ reported.

On July 17, Spears agreed to give Federline sole legal and physical custody of their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, while she would retain visitation rights. Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told E! News last week that the agreement had been signed by all parties but still needed to be approved by the court.

TMZ says Spears will have three days and one night a week with her sons, with more visitation possible in the future. The singer has only been allowed monitored visits with her children since late February, following her multiple hospitalizations. She was recently granted the right to have one overnight visit a week as well.

According to E!, the Federline camp credited Spears' father, Jamie — who was appointed the co-conservator of his daughter's estate in February — for helping to get the troubled 26-year-old singer back on the right path. The conservatorship is up for review at the end of July, at which point a court commissioner will decide whether to make the arrangement permanent. Kaplan said that there is language in the custody agreement that anticipates a possible end to the conservatorship, but he couldn't discuss what those terms are. "Nobody can predict what the future will bring, but ... to the extent possible, I think we have really anticipated how to proceed," he said.
